1、 PLC system

1. The operation of the RTU manager module (RTM700B) in the PLC system and the status indicator lights of other cards was found. It was found that the OK light in the RTU was constantly on (in normal state), the TX light was off (in normal state, flashing), and the indicator lights of other cards were normal.

2. Check the RS485 communication cable. After inspection, it was found that the signal cable and connector were tightly welded and tested with a multimeter to be in good condition.

3. Checking the working status of the COM subroutine in the PLC program, it was found that the COM program was in standby mode (i.e. not in normal working mode), activated by software triggering, and there was no data transmission. Other programs are running normally.

4. The PLC control station started cold and the communication program did not automatically activate afterwards.

5. Swap the RTU manager module (RTM700B) between the slave and master stations in the PLC control station, repeat steps 3 and 4, and the data transmission between the systems is not restored.

In summary, communication problems caused by PLC system and communication cable failures have been basically eliminated.
